2.01.07: New Offices in Torrance & Los Angeles Starting 2/1/07!
Our main office in Los Angeles is relocating to a new office a couple blocks down from our current office. In addition, LACT is opening up our 3rd Office in Torrance. Beginning February 1st, our corporate headquarters will be in Torrance.

1.28.06 LACT Insurance Services to Start Selling Blue Shield Health Insurance
LACT Insurance Services will commence selling Blue Shield Health Insurance starting in February 2006. There has been numerous demands by international students to be insured properly with health insurance. With the high medical costs in the United States, we hope many will use our service. 12.09.05 LACT Becomes Licensed Auto Broker with the DMV
The California Department of Motor Vehicles officially licensed LACT as an Auto Broker in California. With the official license from the DMV, expect great things from our LACT Auto Broker division. O/L #65711.

11.24.05 LACT Partners Up with Many of Japan's Most Prominent Ryugaku Agents
LACT has officially started to market our LACT Support in Japan. Our initial marketing has created numerous partnerships with some of the most prominent ryugaku agents in Japan. LACT Support will commence starting in January of 2006.

10.17.05 LACT Signs Up with Verizon Wireless and Sprint
LACT’s cellular phone division will commence selling Verizon and Sprint cellular phones at our retail locations. Verizon Wireless is known for its superior network and currently is the second largest carrier in the United States. Sprint has recently merged with NEXTEL to provide customers with a variety of wireless options. More option for our students mean better service.

09.15.05 LACT One Stop Shop in Los Angeles and Newport Beach
We have opened two new offices in Los Angeles and Newport Beach! Our locations are conveniently located for international students to visit anytime! We are open Monday through Friday, 10AM to 7PM. Our locations will commence selling cellular phones, insurance, calling cards, magazine subscriptions, and international ID Cards. We look forward to serving you!

LACT installed a brand new telephone system to better serve our customers last week. We have a brand new toll-free number at 1-866-647-1457. Call us anytime during our business hours from 10AM to 7PM, Monday through Friday.

06.27.05 LACT to Become a Vendor for OCTA Bus Passes
LACT will start to work with Orange County Transportation Authority to start selling bus passes to international students starting next month. The addition of the bus pass will be another bonus for our one stop shop. Contact us for more information.

LACT will be showcasing our www.lact.info English site starting this week. Our new site will have more multimedia features using Macromedia Flash, and it is primarily intended for non-Japanese students. We will also be renewing our .info Japanese site by the end of this month.
